Hotel needed in Waikiki for 2 nts

We're searching for a quiet hotel in Waikiki or Diamond Head for 2 nts. Our limit is $110/nt. Can anyone recommend a safe, clean, bug/rodent free hotel (hopefully w/on-site free parking)? We were thinking about the Royal Garden at Waikiki which was advertised for $105/nt. Thanks!

I would check out Priceline. I got a 3* for $50/night and a 4* for $85/night. Check out the messageboards on www.biddingfortravel.com for assistance.

You don't say which time of year, but you could try the Aston property:

Thank you for your help. I checked out both websites. Both were informative. I leave for Maui this Sunday and will be in Honolulu 5/23-5/25. In the end, I used hotwire. I saw a 4 1/2 star hotel in the Waikiki-Yacht Harbor area for $102. It turned out to be the Hawaii Prince Hotel. Thanks, again.

The Hawaii Prince for $102 a night is a much better deal than Royal Garden for $105. It's a much more upscale property in every way.

Just FYI....in my experience, Priceline is usually cheaper than Hotwire..My neighbors got the Hawaii Prince for $75 a night on P-Line (2 months ago, maybe there was a glut of rooms at the time...)

Anyway, you were smart to try a bidding site especially since its only for 2 nights.
