hotel near universal
 

I'm taking a day trip to universal with my in-laws and need a place to stay near universal studios for the night - looking for a nice but not fancy place,relatively inexpensive! <BR>thanks

Since this is the florida board, I meant Florida, but it always helps to be precise:) <BR>By the way, has anybody stayed at the Summerfield suites on International Drive - they sound good and inexpensive?

There's an embassey suites, residence inns nearby. The residence inn on international drive is quite new and nice with good free breakfast and evening food. Free wine and beer during week nights.

Even though you may put this under a Florida heading, that is only used for the search vehicle. There is no Florida board per say. It ALL comes into the United States board, with no mention of Florida at all, unless you actually put Florida in your actual heading or in the body of your post we may not know that you mean Florida.

Stay at the Hard Rock Hotel... The "front of the line" priveledges at Universal & Islands of Adventure are worth it! You can walk to the parks and you don't have to wait in lines.

We got a room at the Days Inn for $45.00 a night on Travelocity.com. It's within walking distace to Universal Studios.
