Hotel Near Rockefeller Center
 

Hi everyone , I will be in NYC 8/31 till 9/3 and would appreciate a suggestion for a hotel near the Rock. Center. I have stayed at the Omni Berkshire and loved it but it is getting pricey. I'll stay there again if nothing else comes up.<BR>Thanks in advance.

There are alot of hotels near Rock Center. What type of hotel and what price range are you looking for? There are MANY to choose from!

Sorry not to be more specific. Let's make it $175-$250 per night. It's stickly a pleasure trip so no need for business services. Convenience, nice room and a good value are most important.<BR>Thank you.

second for the Michelangelo - great litle hotel in a great location.

I think the Michelangelo is the nicest hotel in Midtown West, and reasonably priced. But please stop talking it up so much, or it will be overbooked and prices will rise.

The NY Hilton is right across the street.

Try the Drake Swissotel @ approx. 175 per....about 3-4 short blocks from Rockefeller on Park Ave. Very nice!

forget direct bookings, just try to priceline a hotel in that general area. <BR>I got a fantastic deal for the NY Hilton last year - $75/night during Thanksgiving.
