Hotel near PacBell Park, San Francisco?
Please recommend a hotel near PacBell Park in San Francisco. Thanks for your help!

All major hotels in SF are relatively close. Don't worry about the near-park location and just take a cab or public transit once you find the perfect hotel!

I just stayed at the Harbor Court Hotel (got it for $82/nt on Hotwire) - it's a boutique hotel (i.e., stylish and funky, w/small rooms) on the Embarcadero. It's within walking distance (maybe 1/2 mile..possibly less) of PacBell Park. I didn't notice any hotels that were closer to PacBell than this one.

I really enjoyed the hotel...they serve free wine and beer from 5-6 each evening...it was a great way to meet lots of the other hotel guests. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were clean.

Did you post a SF trip report or were you afraid to start a new SF war?

Ha! Poor Suzanne and the controversy she sparked. I'm glad to hear the Harbor Court was good for you. My Scottish cousin was staying there at the same time you were -- perhaps you heard him (he can be rather loud). They loved the location too, and the weather was perfect.

If you have the $ the Four Seasons has some rooms that actually overlook PacBell Park!

Harbor Court gets my vote

Another big Harbor Court fan here. Stayed there for Giants games 2x this year. Nice walk along the Embarcdero.
Or hop a street car.

Also used Hotwire and got it for the $80-something price. If they have room (they were sold out on one stay), they can upgrade you even if you booked thru Hotwire to a Bay view.
Mahalo all,
Kal
