Hi,

I'm actually passing through New Orleans and need a place to spend the night, preferably as close to the bus station as possible. I have a 6:20am bus out of New Orleans and want to make sure I catch it! If I stay at a hotel that's not within easy walking distance of the bus station, are there any cab companies you know that are reliable to get me from my hotel to the bus station?

Try the Holiday Inn on Loyola. I think it's right across the street from the bus/train station.

United Cab is efficient and reliable.

Or, maybe it's United Taxi. Either way, they're excellent, and can advise you on timing and logistics.
