hotel monaco new orleans

We just came back from NOLA last week. We stayed at the Hotel Monaco on St. Charles St. in the Central Business Distrcit (CBD). Although you are not in "the Quarter" we were only 3 blocks out away. My husband actually preferred the location becuase he postulated it was quiter. (We like our sleep after the party). The hotel has a quirky contemporary yet warm feel and the nightly complimentary wine reception with a local Licenced Massage Therapist performing chair massages was a nice touch. We would stay there again. Happy travels!

We stayed there last week (5/19-22) also and loved it. Our only issue (well 2) was that our first room had hot water coming out of both faucets which was not just warm but scalding, so we had to move. And the only other issue was that both concierges did their job but were not particularly friendly.

Would I stay there again - yes, we both loved it! Hotel Monaco has a website that sometimes offers specials where you pay 3 weeks in advance and get a better rate. We paid $160 for a large double windowed room.
