Hotel Monaco

Planning a trip to New Orleans. Has anyone stayed at Hotel Monaco? Would you recommend this hotel? Is it in a good location?

The location is good - only a short walk to the French Quarter and close to Harrah's Casino. I like the rooms as well as the way the hotel caters to their guests. I think you should be pleased with it.

There's a fairly long thread about this hotel I initiated a few months ago. I just topped it for you. It's titled New Orleans Hotel and Cajun Country.

Hi. I stayed at this boutique hotel in April 2002 and enjoyed it very much. It is comfortable and nicely appointed, with an attractive lobby and public rooms. They are pet friendly, and will even "loan" you a goldfish during your stay! As for the location, its fine, but not in the French Quarter, if that makes a difference to you. Have fun!
