Hotel location for Peach Bowl visit
 

Please help us with location for nice hotel for Peach Bowl visit 12/27-12/30. We are family of 3 and would like nice hotel type: Ritz, Westin, Four Seasons, etc. Some have good weekend rates for this time. We will be driving to Atl, but would like to be able to do some walking, MARTA, etc. Should we stay in downtown, midtown, Buckhead?? <BR>Thanks!!

Don't stay downtown. Buckhead's a good bet. Look at either the Ritz Buckhead or the Marriott at Lenox. Both have good accessability to MARTA stations that are about a 15-minute ride away from the Dome. <BR> <BR>Or there is a very nice 4-Seasons in Midtown close to a MARTA station. While the street the 4-Seasons is on is rather unattractive, you're only a couple blocks from Piedmont Park and the great neighborhoods of Midtown. Midtown is a bit more culturally diverse than Buckhead (there is a large gay population) so if that bothers you, go to Buckhead.

The Ritz Buckhead or the Swissotel in Buckhead are your best nice hotel bets for walking/Marta. <BR> <BR>I think the Swissotel may be just a tad bit closer to marta then Ritz...and the food at the Palm located at the hotel is excellent as well. <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>
