Hotel Info needed for Calabasis Area
I'm going to be in the Woodland Hills/Calabasis area in November for a wedding and since it involves two dinners, the wedding itself and a brunch I figured it would be easier to stay in the area rather in Santa Monica which I'm familiar with.
Can anyone recommend a nice/decent hotel? Any suggestions would be appreciated! |
topping in hopes of some info!

There is a Hilton on Canoga Ave and a Marriott on Oxnard St. in Woodland Hills. Please note that I have not stayed at any of them, but have seen them from the outside. Calabasas does not really have hotels. It's mostly residential over there. Enjoy your stay in LA.

I guess there is a Country Inn & Suites and Extended Stay in Calabasas, but I don't know where they are. You could do an internet search to check them out. Good luck.

Our daughter stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Calabasas in July and really enjoyed it. She was traveling with her girlfriends looking at colleges in the Southern California area. They really liked this hotel. It's not a high rise hotel, just 3 floors. They had rooms with 2 Queen beds for $99 per night. The hotel is centrally located with many restaurants and shopping nearby and has a swimming pool. Hope this helps.

The Country Inn & Suites is right in the "old town" Calabasas area where all the restaurants and shopping are. I've never gone in, just driven by on my way down to the Commons.
The Hilton and Marriot in Woodland Hills often come up on Priceline if that's your thing. They are also both near shopping and restaurants and it isn't more than 10 mins to drive to Calabasas from those hotels. Again, haven't been in them, but I don't think they're offensive. They probably cater mostly to business travelers. Where is the wedding? Do the bride and groom having any suggestions for out of town guests? When I got married, we reserved a block at a local hotel for such folks. |
Agourra Hills has a nice Renaissance Hotel
