Hotel in midtown Miami with pool

I am going to need to stay in a hotel near my sister in midtown Miami.
She is very Ill and the visit will be indefinite and perhaps protracted. I’d like somewhere decent and clean but don’t need a lot of amenities. Normally I’d prefer an air b n b but indefinite dates are problematic.
An extended stay type place might work, and someone suggested Yotel.
many other thoughts appreciated.
i do need a pool, and one big enough to actually swim in would be helpful.

This might not be on point, jubilada, but does your sister's hospital have a hotel for out of town family members? Also, some medical facilities have discount agreements with local hotels.
Good luck.

Thank you. I hadn’t thought of that. I checked and while they don’t have a hotel, they do seem to have arrangements for slightly reduced rates at a couple of places . I don’t think they are near enough to my sister and BIL’s condo ( where she will be, not in the hospital) , and also not available to outpatients, but it is worth checking out and I appreciate the suggestion.

I haven’t stayed in this hotel, or known anyone who has, but there’s an AC Hotel by Marriott in Midtown that we pass frequently. It shows that it has a pool and I know it is not far from the main hospital complex (you can get there without going on the highways) because we pass it when we head back home from the doctors there. Very close by (easy walking distance) is a Trader Joe’s and Target and other stores and some restaurants.

If I come up with something else I’ll post again.

Thank you. I will check it out.

I see there is also a Hampton Inn nearby as well that might be worth a look.

Be careful of the crazy drivers here!

I’ll use Lyft.

I'm sorry not to have any good suggestions but I am sorry to hear about your sister. She is lucky to have you.

Thank you all for concern and advice.
My sister has figured out something for me, so I think I’m all set.
