"I'm betting Vegas money that NONE of the anti-Hooters posters have stayed there"

You're right, I have never stayed at Hooters. I've also never been in a Mexican prison but I think I can state that isn't a good vacation spot either.

Take a look at Bill's Gambling Hall, excellent location, mid strip, opposite Ceasers. Great rooms, only takes a few minutes to get from your room to the strip. Lively smaller casino.

I would suggest possibly getting two rooms instead of one suite and staying mid-strip flamingo/harrahs area. I don't know how much luxury you guys want but Flamingo's Go deluxe Rooms are pretty neat and reasonably priced.
I also want to make a travel book suggestion - Las Vegas Little Black Book by David DeMontmollin. Awesome book telling you what to do for a great guys weekend in Vegas. He has hotel choices, strip club reviews, great guy restaurants and a bunch of other useful tips. I would go to your local bookstore one day and read it before the trip. Here's an amazon link for it also http://www.amazon.com/Las-Vegas-Litt...pr_product_top
Hope this helps and have a good trip!
