Hotel for Lihue
 

Need recommendation for one night stay in Lihue. Have early flight next day to big island. No need for resort-will have spent time at Priceville and going to resort in Kona.

You lost me, :? Princeville is within 1 hour drive away from LIH. Suggest you do not stay at Coconut Beach Resort.

For one night, I would stay at the Radisson--rooms are ok and it is really close to the airport. Usually you can get a good price through Travelocity.

If your flight is that early, you can probably make it in time from Princeville as you may beat the traffic through Kapaa.

If not, there are a few inexpensive ones along the CocoCoast and around the the Marriott/Nawiliwili Harbor that are a stones throw from LIH.
Kauai Sands usually seems to have some bargains.

I think the radisson is your best option. The have good rates and less than 5 minutes from the airport.

I agree that the Radisson is your best bet. They have a free airport shuttle, you could even drop your rental car off
at the airport the night before if that saves you any money.
