Hotel Chelsea Vs. Cardozo
Was hoping someone could help me with some questions:

1) Which hotel is in a better location and more comfortable. Heard a lot of good things about Cardozo but also see that Chelsea got good reviews and was cheaper. price in not important but a relative comparison would be helpful.

2) How is the weather in early February. Chilly or warm tanning weather? E.g. golfing in shorts or pants?

I suggest that you repost with the location in your title. Picking a state or locale when posting only affects where it is found with the search function. I opened your post because there is a hotel Chelsea in NYC - obviously golfing weather (and golfing) is not a part of the picture in NYC - post with the locale and you'll likely get some helpful responses.

A bit late to be posting, but....

Cardozo, Cardozo, Cardozo!! Gorgeous, sexy hotel, across the street from the beach, comfy rooms and attentive staff. You can't go wrong. The Chelsea is not a bad little hotel, but it's on Washington, two blocks off of the beach. Not the most glamourous location.

February weather-- well, I guess you can answer that!

In response to the other poster: When you're so close to the beach, WHY would you even want to have a pool? Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. And no excitement...?! All the nightclubs are a short walk away!

Hey there again rjw_lgb_ca,

How's the Cardozo on the cleanliness factor? And the quietness factor?
|
Hey there!! The Cardozo is exceptionally clean. This is a top-tier boutique hotel, and it's maintained to spotless, five-star standards.

The noise level is fairly high at this hotel. The floors are hardwood, and there is no weather stripping at door bottoms-- these factors combine to allow noise to carry from room to room. It's not awful (although the people next door to me last year were a bit too vocal in the morning-- when you're hung over, that's no fun!!).

If you choose not to stay here, it's definitely worth it to come take a tour of the hotel and look at the Honeymoon Suite (if it's not reserved), which is absolutely gorgeous. It's a lovely property.
