Hotel Between NY and Philly

Taking a east coast trip during the holiday and will be partying hard in NYC on 12/29, looking for a low-cost but stylish, clean modern (can't a guy dream) hotel between NYC and Philly where I we will be hitting the next wave of the trip on the 30th/31st.

I know it's only roughly 1.5 hours to Philly but at 1am cutting this down to 40min - 1h helps. I can't see paying 350/nt in NY or adding a day to the Philly Hotel at 250/nt.

Any help, thanks thanks thanks.

I guess I am thinking the Westin Princeton, NJ.

I was going to suggest Princeton NJ. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Princeton... no complaints.

Otherwise, you can stay in NJ just outside of Philadelphia, eg in Cherry Hill.

Princeton is about halfway between the 2 cities, but isn't right off the highway between the two. There are a lot of hotels, and if you can deal with Priceline, can probably get a really good deal there

New Brunswick/East Brunswick have a few nice hotels and are just off the turnpike

Great - I think off the highway is much better and I am loving the look of the Heldrich and the Hyatt looks pretty good too at a lower rate then the Westin. Great feedback!

There are lots of hotels along the way. I've used priceline for 3* hotel in the Woodbridge area a couple of times - once I got a Sheraton, and I forget the other. Nothing spectacular, but the room was about $100/night on a Friday in the summer.

Edison, New Brunswick, east Brunswick & other towns near the NJ Turnpike will all be ok.
