Hot times in the City

I promised not to whine about the weather, but Is Anyone Else Hot?????

They say the temps will break tonight and NYC will have lovely summer weather this weekend.
How about where you live?

June Gloom is breaking up earlier and earlier-- sun's almost burned through the haze here at my office in Santa Monica, and it's already sunny back home in Long Beach. Temps on the coast will be mid-70s (SM) to low 80s (LB) today-- in the Valley it might top 100!

Summer is here again...!!!

Scarlett, it's been hot here since April. I swear. We've had upper 90s in both temp and humidity lately. Tho I must admit, we had a cold front come in last night and today's high will only be 89. And less humid. Ahhhh.

Scarlett,
Here in D-town (Detroit) the hot weather has passed! A cool front came through last night and chilled everything quite nicely! It's about 75 and sunny here.....theoretically this great weather should be heading your way soon, enjoy!

Hi Scarlett - I'm in DC and we have the same weather patterns as you, but 5 to 10 degrees hotter!

Does that make you feel any better?

kaudrey, sorta kinda not really

I hope that cool dry weather will be here tonight, I want to walk the Pup in Central Park and he won't go out in the heat, looks at me like he is being punished!!

And I am tired of lying on the kitchen tile floor with him ~LOL

Very steamy mid 90's here in central New Hampshire. Very unusual for this neck of the woods. I'll take the cool weather anytime! At least when it's cold, you can bundle up and go outside. What can you do when it's 97 other than swim?

I believe it was in the "Ark" post where I said it was all of a sudden going to be 90+ degrees and humid here in NYC. Gee, maybe I should change my profession to "TV weather guesser"...

Michelle,
you will be as good as the guys on TV!
I am happy we don't need the ARK anymore but we just came back from walking the Pup and even he asked to go back home to the a/c!

Hot(upper 90s) and humid as hell with no end in sight until sometime September or October in coastal South Carolina. I would be happy with a few days if it would drop down into the 80's. It's even sweltering at night.

Record breaking heat here! We are supposed to get our natural "air conditioning" in the form of coastal fog soon. I actually rather like the heat as long as I can have a fan in my immediate vicinity.

On the island of Kauai- mid 80's and not much wind. Feels hellish but I know it could be worse! (We are all still complaining here anyway, LOL.)
