Burgers: The Ohio Club on Central down by the Arlington Hotel. This was Al Capone's hangout and just has a fun vibe to it. Get their house burger.

Barbeque: Smokin' in Style

Cajun: Quarters on Park Avenue

Steak: the high dollar place is Porterhouse but I'd just as soon go to Longhorn or even Colton's.

Oaklawn actually has some good food, esp. known for prime rib on Friday nights but we've never been there except for lunch.

The Bistro on Park Avenue is upscale and pretty good. I'm very fond of them because I lost a $1k bracelet there and they found it and kept it for me (and it was several weeks before I realized I had lost it). Impressed by their honesty.

Latino: Rolando's on Central, Colorado Grill for Tex-Mex

We've never been to Jahna's but friends say it's very good.
