Hot air balloon in Kauai or Maui?

My son and his wife are going to Hawaii soon and we want to give them something in Hawaii for a gift. My husband suggested a hot air balloon ride, would that be suggested and/or possible, or can someone give us an suggestions?

How about a helicopter ride?

I've never seen hot air balloons there. I imagine they exist but usually it's pretty windy.

None in Hawaii any more.

Big Island used to have them, but not for the past few years.

What about a Napali boat tour? Or an ATV or horseback riding tour?

There are ultralights or trikes I think they're called on Kauai not sure about sailplanes (gliders) there. The Napali cruise you can't go wrong with as it's a beautiful coastline with sealife easily seen from the boat. Sea turtles and Hawaii spinner dolphins that seem to enjoy playing around the boats.

Thanks for all the help, I will investigate the boat suggestions, but I am not sure that I like the helicopter ride. Every so often I seem to remember accidents with them, I don't feel comfortable with that. Any more suggestions will still be appreciated.

How about a couples spa package at one of the hotel spas? Spa Grande at the Grand Wailea or Anara at the Hyatt on Kaua'i would be nice.
