Hospice by the Sea -Ft Lauderdale
 

We are looking for a hospice program in the Pompano Beach / Ft. Lauderdale area -- absolutely no guidance from Mom's oncologist (not nec. a bad thing). There are several in the area, does any one have first hand experience with Hospice by the Sea -- or any hospice program in that area of Florida?

My father-in-law spent his last days in Hospice By The Sea in Boca Raton, FL. They were wonderful. I am not sure that they have another location in Pompano, so this may be the location you are speaking of. It is on Palmetto Park Road, just East of I-95. They entire staff was very caring of every member of our family at this most difficult time. Let me know if I can be of further help.

MarciaK -- thank you, that was a comfort. Boca is listed in their brochure -- the hospital we are using is Holy Cross in Ft. Lauderdale - but it is time to move on.

jtp: You might want to report with more information in your title. I passed up your post a few times thinking someone was trying to be humorous about Florida being a state where many go to retire and now I realize that you named an actual business! I do hope you find the information you need.
