Horseshoe Bend
 

Last February I visited the Horseshoe Bend and I saw a lot of construction work.

They also where building some gates at the parking. I guess the Horseshoe Bend can't be visited for free soon, any idea if this is true and what the prices will be?

Which Horseshoe Bend? The one near Page/Lake Powell AZ? (there are a lot of 'Horseshoe bends' in the US)

f you do mean the AZ one, you might ask the moderators to tag your thread for Arizona.

Website says it reoened mid April this year and fee is $10 per car.

It was getting nuts with the parking, etc. there so they enlarged the lots and did some other things to make it easier to get more people in to see it--which comes at a price. Unfortunately, managing crowds of people--and the garbage they leave behind-- is not cheap.

Yes I ment the one near Page (AZ).

I think $10 is a fair price for a view like that. They had to do something about the crowd, garbage and parking issues.
