Horseback Riding

I'm planning a trip to Hawaii and one of the things I would love to do there is horseback ride on the beach. Does anyone know what island I can do this on?

CJM stables in Poipu offers a ride that's partially along the coast with ocean views with a very small portion on the beach. I don't know of any company that offers on the beach rides. I think there may be some regulations against this.

All of the islands have companies which offer horseback riding treks...some with lunch, some with waterfall/ocean stops, all with _wonderful_ vistas!

Only 36 days till my Hawaii trip! I'm going to take a 5-6 hour ride to a waterfall on the BI. I'm not sure of what I think of horses on beaches. Just imagine someone coming by later on foot, and stepping in a big pile of manure while they were wading out into the ocean!

We did the CJM ride in Poipu and part of it is along the beach and then up the hills. It was a great ride and I would recommend it. We also did the BI ride to the waterfalls and thoroughly enjoyed that one too. I don't remember any rides on the BI being offered on the beach.

BTW, the CJM stables on Poipu are owned by the same people who own the stables on Maui who do the ride to the crater.
