Hoover Dam tour company?

Can anyone recommend a good agency/company that conducts Hoover Dam tours? Hubby & I will be in Vegas from Sunday, Dec. 17th to Friday, Dec. 22nd. We are open to all price ranges. Thank you!

You could get a tour thru the hotel that you are staying at or rent a car and drive there.

Make sure you take the Dam tour and ask a lot of Dam questions.

i'm still trying to work out my schedule, but I really want to fit in the tour described here: http://lasvegas.coachusa.us/sightsee...cation_id/1037

(they also have smaller Hoover Dam tours available).

i've spoken to them on the phone regarding timing and pickup/dropoff issues and they've been pretty helpful thus far. i can update after my trip.

I also would recommend renting a car for the day (or for your entire stay) and drive out there yourself, it is only about 30 minutes from the Strip and once you get to the Dam you can purchase your own tour there. This just allows you to go at your own pace, also after (or before) you can explore Boulder City a bit. It is a cute little town (the only town in Nevada where gaming is illegal...even though there are casinos just on the outskirts of Boulder City, but the town itself does not allow it). There is a great place to eat right downtown Boulder City called Milo's wine cellar, you can sit (yes, even in December) on the patio and watch people walk by while having a glass of wine, a tray of cheeses and a lovely sandwich.

Last time I was in Vegas, I rented a car and drove down to the Dam. I purchased the tour right there on site.

Vegasnative! Don't tell tourists about Milo's! How could you?! (Don't tell them about Table 34 on Warm Springs, either.)

ok vegaslocal I won't tell them about Table 34 or Milo's if you don't tell them about Ventanos on Horizon Ridge and Rosemarys in Summerlin

umm.. not really?

sounds like someone made a mistake and a bunch of people mocked him and there was one link to a grand canyon touring company at the bottom.

The AAA magazine recommends looking at this site.... www.usbr.gov/lc/hooverdam.

It might give you info on 'official' tours if you would rather go yourself and hook up with experts...FWIW.
