Hoover Dam or Glen Canyon Dam
 

We are planning a family vacation to NW Arizona. I think it would be interesting to take the time to tour one of the Dams. Has anyone toured both the Hoover and Glen Canyon Dams and could give a recommendation re: which one for us to visit?

I've done both. Before 9/11 I would have recommended Hoover, but today I think you see more of the actual workings of the dam at Glen Canyon. Still, Hoover is impressive for its sheer size (way overbuilt).
