I wish - just once - a GTG coincided with a trip to Hawaii so I could meet the fine (808) Fodorites. In the meantime, I just lurk in these GTG threads.
Just wondering if Kincaid's is the former Horatio's in Ward (yes, I'm old).

I agree with hulajake - any chance of a GTG the end of June? I will be there for 16 days starting June 28th and would love to do this. Have fun on this one you're planning and let me know if there'll be another one while I'm there. Never can have TOO MANY parties or get togethers!

As mentioned.....just post a GTG announcement/request on the board and we'll see who shows up...even if it's just me! there's no one person "in charge" of Honolulu GTGs. Often it is done when a fodorite is coming to town--so don't feel like you need to plan your trip around a GTG. the GTG can come to you!
I hope you can make it to the July 3 fireworks at Aloha Tower Marketplace!
Often when I travel to any destination, I put out feelers on the board a few weeks in advance to see if anyone is available. would love to meet you!

I'm hoping to be there...Got to do an open house that afternoon, so it depends on how fast I finish up.
But if you people are going to be flipping birds, I'm not sure I'll want to sit with you.
So how are we going to top chicken paws at kincaid's?

hulajake, I went to two GTGs with Monica Pileggi last summer in the DC area. The first =was a mix of Fodors & Cruisecritic.com people. The second was a group of slowtrav people, I was the only fodorite and Monica was part of both. Overall, I think it was OK and I met some terrific people. I think a more casual setting for mixing two groups is better than a sit-down meal, though.
