This GTG is being spearheaded by kuranosuke of the Asia Board, but will include many of the Honolulu Fodorites you see on this board like lcuy, mari808, and me!

Don't worry about its location near some of the most notorious strip clubs in town. Apparently the food is amazing! And if you get bored with us, well, just saunter over to Club Femme Nu. But I can vouch for the Asia Board--they have some of the most organized GTGs and some fun people. Bring an extra liver to cover the alcohol consumption....heck, bring an extra kidney just in case your family thinks your "online friends" are all lunatics!

Please do RSVP, that's the one thing we ask--either on this thread or the Asia one.

Ummm.... Melissa, I'm thinkin' the date is Aug 26, not 28. Please correct me if I'm wrong...

And yes, I'll be there! Coming from Illinois.

I have my ticket in hand, so I'm ready for this GTG in HNL. I'll be in town for 5 days, and then I'll be heading off to BKK for a quick shopping trip.

I look forward to meeting the Hawaiian fodorites!!

Hoping I can make it, but I'm waiting for my daughter's school schedule to come in before I'll know for sure. She always has a flurry of activity meetings scheduled at the start of school.
