OK you won't believe this. I just called (and called and called) Kai today to make reservations, and all I got was a Japanese-language answering machine! Turns out (according to a gal from Japan) they have moved to Waikiki. I'd prefer to keep the whole GTG within walking distance....there's so many off-the-beaten-path gems in this area. How about Shokudo?
