HONEYMOON LODGE
 

I have friends getting married in December, they are looking for a special place to spend their honeymoon. He lives on the coast of N.C., so they would like something inland, a resort or a lodge maybe. They live in North Carolina and would prefer to drive, but this is not required. Fodor's has helped me so much in the past, please help me with some idea's for them.

Why don't you look into the Gatlinburg area? It is very nice this time of year and there are many beautiful honeymoon lodges in the area. Something about those mountains . . . . just seems to be the perfect place for a honeymoon.

Okay, it is even more beautiful in the winter!!
