Honeymoon help in Wine Country
My fiance and I are planning to go to California for our honeymoon for 5 days the first week of April. I have done a lot of research and read the posts on the board, but still feel very overwhelmed. Can someone please help get me started!?
We are looking to taste sweet wines and dessert wines, definitely muscats but do not know where to go.
Someone said to make sure to check out bodega bay. Is this worth it?
I have also heard good things about santa rosa and st. helena.
where should we start out? we were told to fly into sacremento. any thoughts?
thank you to anyone who helps me with this...!

Yes, Bodega Bay is very nice. Check out the Sonoma Coast Villa @ www.sonomacoastvilla.com I haven't stayed here, but they keep sending me very enticing postcards. We drove by the place not too long ago, it's kind of in a remote area, but very nice.
We also really enjoyed our stay at the Bodega Bay Lodge & Spa. Get the Trumpeter Swan room, it's a gorgeous suite with a small patio overlooking the bay there. The Duck Club restaurant is also very good. They have an on-site spa there for your massages. www.bodegabaylodge.com Congrats! ***kim***

If you want to stay right on the plaza, check out the Hotel El Dorado, www.hoteleldorado.com It is right across the street from the girl and the fig, one of my favorite Sonoma restaurants. ***kim***
