Homestead with a Baby?

Is going to the Homestead for a weekend with a 5 month old worth it? What activities would be fun to do?

I for one was a lazy mother and at that age I left my kids with granny and had a fun weekend alone!

I'm not sure I understand the question. The baby won't remember a darn thing, of course, so what's "worth it" mean? Do you mean to ask if it's a hassle?

I think you need to leave the baby at home-- the child will not be able to partake in horseback riding, bowling, the Spa, or golf---
All it will need is a nap and to be fed-
Seems an awful waste of a great place--

Leave the baby with MOM or sitter or any other relative and have a relaxing time with hubs-

I , for one, would hate to be paying $300+ a nite and have to listen to an infant cry in the dining room while the band plays and people are dancing...

You don't realize I've been doing most of the babysitting. This time I said "NO" so they have to take the infant with them. I do have a life too.

I'm breastfeeding and she won't take a bottle - therefore, she goes with us.

But I think you have all answered my question. I think we will probably stay home for a few more months or until she will take a bottle.
