Fall trip from Vegas to Balloon festival to Bryce,Zion and Grand Canyon

A group of four of us are planning to fly into Vegas. After renting a car we would like to see Grand Canyon Bryce and Zion national Park and attend the balloon fest in Albuquerque. We are considering going to Santa Fe is well. I know from attending other national parks that we could spend a month in each one. We do like to do hikes and we like history. This is the possible itinerary we are considering please give us your thoughts too much time to little time etc.
Day one flying into Vegas Rent-A-Car and drive to the Grand Canyon. Do you suggest Southrim north room or both?
Day two and three spent in Grand Canyon
day four drive to Zion
at the end of day five drive to Bryce.
on day seven start our trip to Albuquerque stopping in Santa Fe

day8. Tour Santa Fe. Leaving afternoon of day 9
day10 11 12 Albuquerque and the balloon festival

Day 13 drive back to Vegas spend day 14 in Vegas and fly home on day 15. Again thank you for your thoughts and suggestions of what to do in all of these places as well as where to eat and stay. If not a particular place to stay at least an area. Thank you

north room or both?
North - less crowded and en route (hotel reservations ASAP at the park, Kaibab Lodge, Jacobs Lake or Knab

Day two and three spent in Grand Canyon
Unless you hike down into the deep canyon - one day
Suggest one hour down Bright which will be 2 hours up.

on day seven start our trip to Albuquerque stopping in Santa Fe
Sante Fe - Georgia O'Keefe museum

And visit one of the local Indian Pueblos

I'm going to suggest that if you decide to do a loop from/to Vegas, save the Grand Canyon for the return trip from Albuquerque and visit the south rim.

Day 1 fly to Vegas, if you get in by early afternoon, head for Zion if not head out early day 2
Day 2,3, Zion
Day 4,5 drive to Bryce
Day 6 Drive towards Santa Fe with a stop at Bandelier NP night in Los Alamos
Day 7 drive to Santa Fe
Day 8 Santa Fe,drive to Albuquerque
Day 10, 11, 12 Albuquerque
Day 13, drive to Grand Canyon South Rim hike a bit, see sunset, spend the night
Day 14 see sunrise at GC, head for Vegas with a stop at Hoover dam
Day 15 Home

Have a fantastic trip, keep the gas tank topped off, cary water and food with you and try to drive during daylight hours to avoid hitting deer, elk, antelope, cattle, horses etc. all of which we've seen on the pavement in the area.

North Rim is much less crowded. South Rim has more expansive views.
