Holidays in Hawaii

My husband and I will be going to Hawaii for Christmas and New Years. We've never been and have planned a lot of our trip already. We will be arriving at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach late on Christmas Eve, and plan to unwind and relax at the Beach on Christmas Day - Would Like a suggestion for where to eat Christmas Dinner. We will also be sending New Years Eve in Maui at the Maui Prince. Any suggestions on what do for New Years?

Hi Diane, what kind of budget & cuisine are you looking for, for Christmas dinner? And how long will you be on each island?

My favorite place on Oahu is Michel's. It is a couple mile drive down toward Diamond Head. Food is good but the sunset is specacular.
Food wouldnt be traditional Christmas since it has more of a french menu. They maybe doing something different for Christmas. Call now for reservation and ask for ocean side seating.

Spend New Years Eve in Lahaina, Maui. It is a quaint little tourist town with a street party that evening.

Either La Mer at the Halekulani in Waikiki or Hoku's at the Kahala Mandarin Oriental about 15 minutes away!

Hi,
Grew up in Hawai'i. You're staying at the hottest spot. Duke's Canoe Club is right there in your hotel. Excellent sunset cocktails. The Moana surfrider next door has a fantastic Christmas buffet. Should be alot of fireworks on New Years eve. Lahaina town would be lively. You could see the new year dawn at the top of Haleakala (house of the rising sun)and have a breakfast of steaming kona coffe and the best cream puffs in the world at Kamoda's Bakery in Makawau on the way back to town. I will wish I was there!

If you want a great night of fun and magic, book for "Warren and Annabelle's" in Lahaina. You'll treasure the experience.
