Holiday Inn Naples

We will be visiting friends in Naples and many of the hotels are not available for the times we requested. The Holiday Inn in Naples is available, is this a good choice?
Thanks

What a shame that a person who lives in Naples FL and always gave such good advice is no longer allowed to post here.

I do hope someone else can ansewer your question. Do have a fun trip.

I'm in Naples all the time as I live in Fort Myers but I regret I do not know much about the Holiday Inn in Naples. Getting a room in season at the last minute is a challenge so I'd book it. You have friends there and there is so much to do, the room is secondary.

I was visiting a friend over the weekend who is staying at the Ritz Carlton so I enjoyed the beach and all that Naples in "season" has to offer. Every place was mobbed and Fifth Avenue and Third Street South were lively and fun.

Book the Holiday Inn and have a great trip. LMF

I'm in Naples alot, we had lunch at the holiday they have a tiki bar. Not much of a tiki bar, but the hotel is right on 41, not far from 5th or shopping which is all over. I'd book it too.

The Holiday Inn in Naples is okay, better than most Holiday Inn's as they have a pretty nice restaurant that has received favorable reviews. The hotel is centrally located on US 41, is 2 stories tall with outdoor hallways. It has a pretty good sized heated but basic swimming pool. Can't comment on the condition of the rooms.

Hi jonest, Patrick who is a long time resident of Naples saw your post this morning and asked that I pass this information on to you as he is always so interested in people having the best trip possible.

He said the Holiday Inn restaurant mentioned in another post closed due to lack of business. It is now reopened however. But I was asked to tell you that the Holiday Inn is near downtown Naples which has many wonderful dining options.

Also, "be aware" do NOT book the Naples Holiday Inn Express as it is about ten miles out of town. Evidently some visitors are not aware of that.

Best regards and wishes from both of us that you have a beautiful visit in Naples.

we were just there. It is ok, a little tired. beds are a little soft. no refrigerator or microwave. computer in lobby to access e-mail is a nice touch, but it is veryyy slow.

didn't eat in restaurant. breakfast not included in rate usually and have to order, not a buffet style set up.
