Holiday Inn Historic District in Charleston
Have any of you ever stayed at the Holiday Inn (Historic District)on Calhoun Street in Charleston?
|
Hi Tiggy, I stayed closed to the Holiday Inn last year and we had breakfast at the Holiday Inn one morning. It was very lovely, the staff was very pleasant (seems as though everyone in Charleston is) and the breakfast was very good. I would stay there without hesitation. Great location too! Have fun in beautiful and charming Charleston.

Trust me you will never know that it is a Holiday Inn. I've stayed there twice and it is a nice classic Inn. If you want the security of a chain with the feel of a local B&B this is the one for you.

Tiggy is asking about the Holiday Inn not the Mills House Hotel.
Nice location a bit of a walk from the center of things. |
Tiggy,
Went to Charleston last summer... passed by the Holiday Inn several times. It looked nice but I was not impressed with the location...it's a bit of a hike to all the places you'd like to go. I'd pay a few dollars more and stay closer to all the excitement. You'll save alot in parking headaches. Good luck! |
I am confused, the Holiday Inn I am referring to is across the street from the Marion Square Park. I am sure it was a Holiday Inn. But I certainly am not an expert regarding Charleston as I have only been there once. Calhoun St., yes that is the street the Holiday Inn I am referring to is located.

LoveItaly, The Mills House is also a Holiday Inn they just don't put the HI name on the sign.
