WOW!!! I'm back for a report on my hip replacement surgery after 3 months. I had surgery on Nov. 1st. Things have gone very well. We flew how on 11/4 and recovery has been great. I went back to work on crutches the week of Thanksgiving, so I was off work for 3 weeks. Now its been almost 3 months since surgery, I have no pain, no limp, and I'm back to exercising 5 days a week. I love this web site and all of the responses and feeback that everyone provides. We're headed down to Schaumburg Ill. this weekend to visit our son who is a starving flight instructor, I guess would be the best way to explain it. Its a thankless job until you get enough hours to actually hire in as a real pilot. Don't forget, if you know someone who needs a hip replacement, check into hip resurfacing, because I'm still convinced its going to be the best new solution for a worn out hip. Gotta go. Take are, Paul

Missed the original thread but after reading through the posts, I was wondering how you were doing. Glad things worked out for you.

Great news Paul! It has been 4 full years since my husbands resurfacing (12/29/2000).I sometimes forget about it until he sets off A metal detector.Susan
