Hilton Hotel near NASA (Houston/Clearlake)

Has anyone stayed at the Hilton on Nasa Parkway near NASA recently? Their mailing address shows Houston but it is moreso the Clearlake/Webster area.

Trip advisor has conflicting views.

I go to this area every year but keep finding duds (one was the inspiration for my screen name) for hotels. I'm hoping that this choice is finally a keeper.

I live across the Clear Lake from NASA and suggest South Shore Resort just down the road from Kemah Boardwalk. The Boardwalk Hotel is another possibility for you. Check them out online. Good luck and have a fun visit.

Thanks for the input but I need to be in very close proximity to NASA. Based on the hour and the lack of sleep I'll have, I prefer not to drive from Kemah.

For another occasion, I'd love to try South Shore Harbor!

The reason I'll be in the area may be of interest to you. Have you ever attended the Ballunar Fest in August?

moldy - this really doesn't answer your question, but since you're not getting many responses, thought I'd at least tell you I've been there several times and the public areas have been very nice. Just haven't stayed overnight.
