Hilton Head Swimming in mid April?

Hi-
Will it be warm enough in mid-April to swim in the ocean at Hilton Head? This is our Spring Break (April 14-18). Will it be crowded?
Thanks,
Linda

Hi Linda
We were there a few years ago in late March, and there is NO WAY we were going swimming in the ocean! But, if you're coming from Canada, you might be able to bear it! As far as crowds, that is the week before Easter, so there it may be busy, though that week is pretty late for Spring Break for the schools in the Southeast.

Correct. Pleasant swimming temp starts in late(very late) May.
