Hilton Head rentals?

Two oldsters seek escape from winter for 2 weeks...visted Hilton Head in the past, found it relaxing warm, and agreeable. What type of lodgings and area would suit us best? Would like to see the ocean, no golf, and no swimming. No stairs, and not too much walking to the beach. 3/14-3/28 preferred dates, only one bedroom needed. In the vicinty of $1000 wk.

Have always found this forum of great help. Thanks for any input.

Litchfield Golf and Beach Resort in Pawley's Island. Easier to get to, nice beach, good food of all kinds nearby. Would be good rates during that time.

On Hilton Head we have stayed at the Waterside Resort and the Cottages at Shipyard. Neither are right on the beach, but you can walk or ride bikes to the beach.
We love Hilton Head and all the bike paths and restuarants. We ride bikes everyday for several hours and the list of great restaurants is endless. We don't play golf either, but you can keep busy there without golf. We are going back in two weeks and can't wait.

Other than the national hotel chains, HHI has few 1 bedroom choices.I would recommend VRBO. Bluff Villas have a few choices in Sea Pines and there are a few high rises in the Coligny Circle area (Barrington?).South Beach Inn has a dozen decent apartments but, I think, they all have steps.

You might try Goode Vacaton Rentals (goodevacationrentals.com) They have several villas in Port Royal Village, which is just steps from the beach. Port Royal Village is center island, located just outside Port Royal Plantation, and near the Westin and the Marriott Barony Beach Club.

Try South Beach Rentals. I am pretty sure they have 1 BR's. I also think they are the official agency for the Bluff Villas.

Stump...is correct. The website for South Beach Rentals is the same as South Beach Inn. www.sbinn.com. I have used them 6+ tomes - They are great to work with!

Hi we used islandgetaway.com for our rental in a condo building called windsor point? Not sure of the condo unit off the top of my head, but it is windsor something.
Anyway, it is oceanfront and has a swimming pool on property. We rented a two bedroom because we had kids, but my parents rented a one bedroom. All units have kitchens, living rooms, dining rooms, separate bedrooms, and washer and dryer. They were decorated nicely and the building was well kept. We used elevators to get up and down.
You will need to drive to things.
I am not sure what current prices are, but the island getaway people were really easy to deal with and we viewed the units on line and chose ones in the same building.

Mant thanks to all for the information. As always the forum is a plus in planning.
Special thanks to "girl on the go".
We have booked a unit for two weeks at the Windsor Court condos, and looking forward to our trip. One thing for sure....Hilton Head will be at least a bit warmer in late March than New England is right now!

Oh grammy I am so glad you chose the Windsor Court(that's the name!)
We really enjoyed our stay. It is quiet and the beach is great there. I hope you enjoy!
