Hilton Head - Help
 

Hi, <BR> <BR>I would like to plan a long weekend to Hilton Head in May, 2001. Primarily to do some golfing. <BR> <BR>Does anyone know of any good web sites that offer packages (air/lodging/green fees)? Exactly where does one fly into to get to Hilton Head. <BR> <BR>Thanks, <BR> <BR>janet

Hilton Head has a small airport. Check with the airlines to see if any flights will take you directly there.

Or the closest "major" airport is Savannah - about 40 minutes away.

Real easy drive from Savannah,nice airport,major jetway.

There are several golf related sites on the web that offer tee times to courses in the Hilton Head area. We have gone a couple times in May. Last year I reserved one tee time in advance and the others once we got there with no problem at all. Once you get there many of the tourist papers as well as your lodging accomodations (if a resort, hotel, or condo development) will have coupons and specials for many courses.
