Hiking Oahu

I'm going to be in oahu for a week in April and I want to do a lot of hiking. What are the best hikes and any other stuff that is necessary to do while I'm there

This will surely be on my list when I go to O'ahu someday.

I'll check to see if there are any geocaches hidden along the way.

Diamond Head and Koko Head - Koko Head being more strenuous. There are hikes in Waimea valley...Check our Barnes and Nobel or google Hikes on Oahu. I am sure you will come up with lots...

Re Diamond Head - much more of a walk than a hike, although the steps at the end are quite difficult (about 100 of them I think). The whole thing only takes about 45 minutes to the top.

What kind of hiking? There are lots of easy but scenic ones like Waahila Ridge, Manoa Falls, Makapuu lighthouse, or the Aiea heiau trail. More tricky are ones like Olomana or above Waialae Iki.
