Hiking in Lake Arrowhead Area
I have been given the assignment of finding a hike for a group of 20 teenage girls. We will be staying in Twin Peaks and are looking for a easy to moderate hike of about 2-3 miles. Preferably would like a scenic trail near water
or with a waterfall. Is there such a place??
Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have.

Many years ago with my Girl Scouts. I am curious what it looks like after the big fire a few years back. I was in Yellowstone several years after their big fire and it was amazing to see how the forest regenerates itself. You might also contact one of the Girl Scout Councils in the area for some tips (www.girlscouts.org search for "Council"). Cheers!

The hike around the lake is a nice trail (and I think it is open to the public) but it is a pretty long hike if you go the entire distance, but if you get tired you can always turn around halfway. It is flat and pretty easy going.
I'd check with the UCLA conference center and see if they can help you out.
