High School Trip Destinations

Can anyone give some suggestions for a destination for a High School trip?

Less than 14 hour drive from New Orleans. We have gone to Orlando and Gatlinburg already.

Thanks

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is a little over 12 hours from New Orleans.

Budget, desired activities/experience, numbers, family versus group trip?

How about Atlanta? Go to the fabulous new aquarium, maybe a Braves game (depending on the time of year), Underground, a show at the Fox, Stone Mountain-stay for the lazor show, etc.

We went to New Orleans for Jazzfest with our high school's dance team. Since that's where you are, come to San Antonio. There are a lot of activities that high school aged kids would enjoy.

St. Louis is a little less than 10.5 hours from NOLA, I think.

If you were willing to do a little more than 14 hours, Charlottesville, VA is 14.5 hours (approximately) away, I think. Personally, I've always wanted to go to Monticello and the other historic places in the area; drive the Blue Ridge Parkway; see the Civil War battlefields; etc.

And since that's such a long drive, maybe stopping at Asheville, NC and the Biltmore Estate?

Hope these suggestions help.
