High Class Romantic Cruise

My husband and I would like to take a cruise to the Mexican Rivera or Carribean to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We were hoping for a more adult cruise ship since we do not have any kids. One where you can relax without kids running up and down the deck. No offense to all of you with children. We just wanted it to be special and romantic. It is hard to wade through all of the cruise lines. Any suggestions would be great.

You might be better off to post this on the Cruise board or one of the Cruise forums all over the internet. I can tell you there are usually less kids on a Crystal cruise. It is a very elegant cruise line. LMF

I would look at Crystal or Silversea cruises

Oceania doesn't have a children's program, and doesn't attract many families.

Silversea or Radisson Seven Seas

I went with several older family members on Celebrity's Constellation last year to the Southern Caribbean.

I was one of the youngest people on the ship, and I was 43. VERY few kids.

While I would not categorize the Celebrity line as "high class," they are reknowned for their food quality, and I found the accommodations and service to be very nice.

We do like our night life, and the club/bar there was pretty happening for an older crowd. There was also a piano lounge which seemed to attract people wanting to hear show tunes and the like, and then those of us wanting a more "Top 40" experience went on to the nightclub.

I too wanted a more exclusive experience, but frankly did not want to spend $5,000 pp for a weeklong cruise, so that's why I selected Celebrity.

Good luck and congrats.
