Hibiscus or Casa Key West in Keys?
 

Heading down to key west in April and trying to decide between staying at the Best Western Hibiscus or the Casa Key West hotel, these are both in my price range. I'm just looking for any input about these two places.

Have you considered the Best Western Ambassador? The location isn't as convenient as the Hibiscus but according to folks who've stayed both places the rooms are nicer there. I checked the aol message board for the keys and wasn't able to find any comments on the Casa Key West.

We'd prefer to stay in the Old Town area, I've actually found a few other places that I'm interested in, one being the Garden House, also the wicker House and the Seascape Tropical Inn, but I haven't called the last two about availablility yet.

And I definitely agree with your decision to stay in Old Town, where everything will be within walking distance. The Key West Ambassador and Casa Key West are not convenient. I'm not sure of the location of the Hibiscus.
