Hey, where's "Booted"?
 

Did that Booted Off Plane thread get deleted or something? I seem to have lost it.

It looks like the booted thread got booted.

It was starting to get heated when I left for work. When I came back it was gone. And I'd just told my daughter to check it out as she's flying Southwest in a couple of hours!

I take it it got even more heated?

Why? It hadn't gotten particularly nasty, had it? I didn't check in for about an hour and I know how quickly these things can go downhill but while I was reading it everybody was well-behaved and it was interesting.

I've noticed the "editors" have been working waaay more than normal over the last few days...

They booted the booted thread
BUT
they left the Polident thread

...it's enough to make your teeth hurt!

How disappointing that the editors would decide to purge a topic in which the major point of contention was about free speech.

Is this the thread where she talked about getting kicked off the plane for wearing a Meet The Fockers tee ? I think she was threatening to "dis" Southwest from now on ...or was she annoyed because they "dissed" her? :D

That's the one, Scarlett. The word "Fockers" had a U in place of the O. That's why she was thrown off the plane. Here's the article:

Well, rats, now the thread called THIS CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE has been booted. We were all about to get so rich. I certainly hope karen2006 will re-post that helpful information.

Whaaaaaat, the wonderful thread that could give all of us the opportunity to make lots of money so that we could all travel to all our dream destinations has been booted? Well the nerve!!!

I was sorry to see "Booted" booted though. Loved the differences of points of view.

Now, the "Change Your Life" thread is a different sory. Gone? Good! Why should all of you get a chance to hone in on all those great opportunities to make millions like I made my first 10? As in - sending underwear and recipes and quarters to those same 5 names at the top of the list (they all probably work for a corpoation making soap products! - oops!?! - did I say that?)
