LOl, but seriously can anyone tell me why all the spam that we get in our emails have the most ridiculous titles and usually they don't even make sense. I always delete them without opening them but honestly some of the titles really make me laugh.
And to prove a point while I was typing this post I got a spam email entitled "Congratulations! Candy Rebel!
Too funny! Of course that was one of the "nicer" titles.

I don't like to brag, but I'm about to collect millions from an unclaimed bank account in Nigeria. All I had to do was to give my SS#, bank account #'s, and a $10,000 good faith deposit to the guy who e-mailed me, and he will wire millions into my bank account. My check for $10,000 has now cleared, so I need to pull up my bank account now to see if my money has arrived from Nigeria. It'll be a party weekend!!

Glad to hear that someone else besides me is sick of seeing/hearing obscenities accepted as normal behavior.
But I do not like censorship, and find Fodors' choices sometimes very odd.
I get emails from Jordan, Bethlehem, Sudan, Nigeria, and Chile- all trying to transfer their millions. Didn't know they were all so rich!
Last year I got a very unintentionally funny email from Egypt that was a REAL email business message. The book I was trying to buy was "not available" because "my former associate- a very not nice person- has taken over my store and has barricaded me out. I will let you know if this book becomes available in any years to come." Those were the exact words.
Honestly- that was the email. And he still sends me material in the mail about it once in awhile, but he still has not gotten "in".

LOL JJ5, that email is precious. The poor guy! Well partnerships are usually a problem. Thanks for sharing.
I am sometimes tempted to open up some of my email Spams, the titles are soooo strange, but have always read that just causes a lot more spams and I get enough as it is.

They send those emails and it's sometimes just to find out if it's a valid mailbox. I never open them, but I know what you mean...and that's what they are counting on..the curiosity. It say "Congratulations"!!! and the unsuspecting will think.."oh I've won something" or some such thing. The best that will happen is that it will just generate more spam, the worst is a virus that will crash your whole system...so keep resisting the temptation. Also, if you have a router it's supposed to protect you better. Don't ask me why...don't understand ANY of this computer stuff, but people that do tell me it's best to have a router. Mine is broken and I need to get a new one. In the meantime, I'm going to check my mail box..the REAL mailbox and see if my first 200.00 is out there waiting for me. LOL

I just got a strange spam email about an hour ago. It not only didn't have a subject it didn't have an address when I clicked on properties. First time I have ever seen that. I deleted it of course without opening it up.

And I just received another email, no subject and no address when I clicked on Properties. Deleted that too. Does anyone have any idea about that.. has anyone received an email without even a return email address? Very strange.
