I Rented a Car from www.kayak.com i was quoted $86.00.i was told by the agent i could drop the car where ever.however after i dropped the car they had charged me $186.00 BECAUSE the Receipt said you did not return per your agreement.the catual drop location was Hertz Local Edition Laredo Texas.instead i even asked the Boerne,TX agent can i drop it at the airport instead.BEWARE OF AGENT'S OFFERING Carte Blanche Service Ha Ha Ha thay really stuck it to me

This situation is NOT UNUSUAL. Car rental companies almost always charge an extra fee if you drop the car off at a different location than where you rented it.

And, yes the agent was correct - you CAN always drop off the car at any location (they just charge extra) so you weren't misled. You just didn't understand the contract.

Yes he was misled...when the agent conveniently left out the "but you will incur an extra charge for doing that".

What airport is in Boerne?

This makes no sense.

What kind of hobo rents cars? I thought they rode the rails. Or thumbs.
