I don't have any hotel suggestions. But, it would be pretty hard to do Hershey Park and Amish Country in one day. Hershey Park, and chocolate factory is a day. If you just spent a day at Sesame Place, you might not want to spend another day at an amusement park (although they are quite different). In the Amish country, you need to decide what your interests are. There are some historic type sites, as Ephrata Cloister, Strasburg Railroad and an interesting whiskey distillery near there. Then, there are the Amish sites, as farm visits, lunch at a Pa. Dutch restaurant or smorgasbord, or just driving around the back roads.. Also, there are the factory outlets, or shopping at the Amish stores. It is about a two hour drive, with traffic from the Sesame Place area to the Lanscaster area. Hershey will also take about 2 hours along the turnpike. There is probably an hour's worth of driving between Hershey and the Amish area of Lancaster. We just had a visit to the Amish area last month. Driving from Doylestown, to the eastern edge of Lanscater took two hours.
