Hermosa Inn

Has anybody stayed at this Scottsdale inn, and if so, what was your experience?

If you type hermosa inn in the search box you'll get several comments on it. We stayed there and it was a beautiful romantic property with great service. The views are wonderful and it feels away from the world. Rooms seemed a little small, but lushly decorated.

Hermosa Inn is a very well thought off resort in Phoenix, often overlooked. It is located in a very upscale residential area, good location to get out to Scottsdale or other parts of the valley. Loads of restaurants, hiking, theaters within a not too distant driving locations. Lon's, the resort's restaurant, is very popular with locals. You can't go wrong, I wouldn't think.

Not sure if this reply is too late to be helpful but I've stayed there several times and I think its lovely - its a small property, not much in the way of the amenities that many of the big Phoenix resorts have (eg spa, gym etc) if that is important to you, but it is very quiet. Desertduds mentioned Lons - we have eaten there a number of times [including on visits when we were not staying at the Hermosa] and the food is very good.

Although I have'nt stayed at the Hermosa Inn, I have eaten dinner there. Food and service were great. Weather permitting, dining in the outdoor patio is a must at nights.
You won't be disappointed. The inn is tucked away in a residential area within a very upscale neighborhood.
Good luck.

I live in Phoenix, not far from the Hermosa, it is an excellent place, very relaxed, nice restaurant, and very close by to many other local restaurants. This is a old adobe building, don't expect FLASH!!! If you want to relax and experience AZ, this is a great place.
