Bouchon over Mon Ami, hands down. Where else can you get a taste of the French Laundry with such a fun atmosphere?
Try Lupo (Puck's) or China Grill at Mandalay Bay and then head up to MIX for drinks and the best view. If you're at Caesar's Palace, try MESA by Bobby Flay. Also good brunch menu on Sundays. Steak? SW at The Wynn. Ask for a table on the terrace and check out the water fall and pool for a surprise every quater hr. Also at the Wynn, Red8 for really different chinese food. Causual but great!! Good suggestions above to try the bar at various restaurants. Bellagio- Circo or Olives (Todd English). Great choices! Have fun, play to win, and spend your winnings on some great food. K |
RBCal..the restaurants that I provided above in my posts are all reasonable and excellent...vs. Alex, Guy Savoy.
It's my opinion but I've been around the block or two on Vegas and on food. |
miku, thanks for the update about BaBaReba. I was only there once, but I enjoyed it a lot.

Actually most restaurants on the strip are outrageously over priced and not reasonable.

If you want great Thai food, go to Lotus of Siam, not more than a mile or so off the strip. This is considered one of the best Thai restaurants in the US and I thought it was really great. But it is not a scene..there will be locals there, as well as tourists who care about food. Prices are very reasonable...we ate there twice in three days.
