Hang in there, not to worry. When you post twice you confuse people who don't know if you've been helped.

I haven't been there in awhile but there is a restaurant area which your brother can access without having a ticket. Most of the restaurants are in this central area but someone who's been there more recently will need to give you the name of one for a rendevous point.

Orlando airport has tons of restaurants or lounges for him to hang out in - even after he's picked up his luggage. After picking up luggage at baggage area go back up one level and you'll be on the main terminal level (where all the airline check in counters are). You do not need a ticket for this level. There are numerous restaurants, bars and shopping areas. In the center of this open area (where you depart to go to gates) is the best location for meeting up with someone too. You will have to walk right by this area to go to baggage claim. Opps - one thing - there is an "A" and a "B" terminal. You'll need to determine if you are both arriving at the same terminal.
Orlando International is very easy to navigate and if you get turned around - just ask someone!
Have a good flight!

To all of you who know the airport: I know there's a Disney store that nobody can miss, but am not sure if it's in a centrally located area or not. I was thinking they could set a time and meet there - I'm sure there are restaurants close so brother can hang out and I remember the store is pretty hard to miss, but I just can't place where it's located except when we fly Delta it seems to be in our general area.

By the way, the hotel in the airport is a Hyatt if that makes a durn bit of difference to anybody.

Wait a minute. The first flight comes in 2 hrs. before the 2nd one. So they need to pick a place to meet at the time of the intended arrival. If he has lots of luggage, brother #1 should leave it at the carousel or with the airlines so he doesn't have to trapse around with it. Then, at the time that brother #2 arrives, they meet if the plane is on time when it arrives, just where the shuttle lets him off at the main terminal (brother #1 won't be able to get onto the shuttle so will be hanging out at the Disney and other stores for two hours). Then they both go get their luggage.

The TV screens with flight numbers will tell him when/if the flight arrives.

This is not so hard as you've made it, tropicsteve. Tell brother to hang out anywhere until your flight gets in. And leave his luggage with the airline at their luggage center.

Just be careful about leaving your luggage, I know in ATL they were taking them of if left for 45 minutes. He may want to at least get it off the carousel so he doesn't have to go hunt for it later if they put it away...Lots of stores and restaurants for him to browse while waiting..have fun !

I suggested that he leave his luggage with the airline luggage dept. which he flew on. Each airline has offices in the luggage area where they place the luggage they've retrieved from the carousels. He might want to call his airline to see about this service at the Orlando airport.

The Disney store is located after you go through security. I believe there are some restaurants on the main level where he can wait. Unless he wants to carry on his luggage on the airplane. Then he would have a variety of choices. I know at Orlando airport you have to take the tram to pick up your luggage.

I would say meet at either the Hyatt hotel (McCoy's rest) or the Chili's both located outside of Security and easy to find.
