The only thing i might do is move a night to Boulder and possibly add Lower Calf Creek Falls.
It's 2.5 miles each way so you decide. But it is spectacular. |
If anyone in the group qualifies, there is a $10 lifetime senior pass for U.S. citizens 62 or over (replacing what was formerly the Golden Age Passport).
Unfortunately, it cannot be purchased by mail or online. It must be purchased in person at a federal area where entrance fees are charged, or at regional offices of the National Park Service, the U.S. Forest Service or the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Proof of age, such as a valid driver's license, is required at the time you purchase your senior pass. For more information about the National Parks Lifetime Senior Pass, call the National Park Service at 1-888-ASK-USGS. |

The Senior National Parks pass is simple.
If you're 62 years of age or older and a US resident (pretty sure of this) you can buy a lifetime pass at the entrance to any National Park (and other places). Then each time you use it just show it at the entrance together with you drivers license and it's good for the passengers (up to 4 I believe) in the vehicle. |
annie423,
Looks like you have a great itinerary planned. Depending on how late in Sept. you are in Utah, our paths might cross. :) Utahtea |
